Whole Earth Holiday, July 23

July 23 is the Whole Earth Holiday.

It is a day of celebration of the Whole Earth. We should rise at dawn, smile and greet our family and loved ones, then stand together in bare feet on the Earth. If we have a garden plot of our own, we should greet the plants and taste one of each kind of ripe fruit as our breakfast, eating nothing more until the midday meal. Before the meal, we should each have one hour of seclusion to reflect on the meaning and purpose of life, happiness and love.

We should gather with the whole family to prepare the midday meal from the fruits of the Earth. Each one of us can add to the table whatever our Soul desires. The oldest and the youngest of the group should say grace, and then calm and pleasant conversation should flow, talking only about what is good and the people by our side.

If we want it, there can be mead or wine from berries, along with tea and fresh living water to nourish our cells. After the meal, the country people should return to their cities, carrying baskets full of produce to share with those who have none. Anyone who is sick will greet the stream of positive people returning from the countryside and feel their ailments ease.

The rays of Love and Good shining from the eyes of these beautiful people will conquer many diseases. They carry colourful baskets full of the fruits of Earth, with joy and a sense of great purpose.

On this day, visitors will come to our lands, those born of the Earth's supporters. The errant travellers will return to their native homes. All our people from every continent of the Earth will wake at dawn on the Whole Earth Day.

The Universe will radiate with a joyful melody on this day. Bards will sing on the streets and in their homes, playing guitars with songs of truth and love. The very, very old will feel young again on this day. Old people will write their children letters, and children will write to the grandparents as well. Babies will take their first steps into a beautiful and happy world. There will be nothing to upset children on this day. They will be as adults, equals.

All the Gods will drop to the Earth to be embodied in simple images, and the one God, the Universal God, will be happy. On this day, we will be happy with love and the radiant Earth.

We should write to our officials to request the creation of a legal holiday on this date. When they read these requests, they will begin to wonder and realise many truths about the meaning and purpose of our lives.

Dear friends, enjoy the Whole Earth Day.
