I just finished this book called “Ringing Cedars of Russia: Anastasia” by Vladimir Megre.
I must admit I was reluctant to start reading initially, as the book seemed at first glance to contain a weird hippie-like theory, for which I have grown an aversion during my life, always reminding me of the flooding of Europe by countless non-Europeans and the general disrespect of the left towards the continuation of the unique traditions and races on this planet.
But on the recommendations of a recent-made friend, I gave it a try. The reason being that I was engaged in discussing the origin of the European man, Neanderthals, and even the unpopular subject of jewish-influence with him. His concern for balance was sincere, and I sensed that I was talking to someone that was decent, actually cared and was intellectually honest. That is rare today, so my intuition drove me to read that book he was so positively inspired by. What was so interesting about this book? I had to find out.
I admit now after reading, that the ‘stratagem’ of this book is unlike anything I have ever read before. It truly contains ‘words for everyone’ as Anastasia claims in it. Many a day in my life I have been thinking about the possibility of how to reconcile the apparent contradictions of the ideologies in our age which are tearing all of us apart, and how to return to our roots.
This book offers it to such an extent and in such a lightly-written style I was often laughing of joy whilst reading through. How genius! Neither feeling nor intelligence is left behind. Even the few references to Christianity couldn’t bother me here, as I see the purpose of the book races straight towards the primordial balance of our ancestors and their life in full accordance with nature.
How splendid! The ideas of this book weld together everything.. It is insane.. I can see how both the streams of the left and right conjoin together in it, just as all the goodness of religion, science, poetry and all things man loves, without stabbing something else in the back. Even I, so willing to draw my sword for every European people in their dire need can see myself at home here, as it promotes independence, ancient tradition, nature, honour and all those things I hold so dear.
The story is about the author Vladimir, destined into meeting a mysterious character called Anastasia who is living in the vast wilderness of the Russian taiga, and embarks on an overwhelming passionate journey that inevitably turns upside-down all his conventions of the civilized world. By firmly but kindly insisting on the importance of purity of thought and being, virtue and health, Anastasia, kindly guides this once-corrupt entrepreneur back to metaphysical harmony, in a dialogue between them they openly talk regarding many of the existential questions modern men and their institutions have failed to solve, but which are to Anastasia a simple given.
This was once common sense to man, she claims. It is nothing abnormal. Some forces created and have a whole set of corrupting programs running that are intended to distract, lobotomize and take people away from their original duty and purpose of life, like money, for example.
But “they” cannot prevail. As the powers that support the beautiful, the intelligent, the honest, the pure and the virtuous and noble, are steadily but surely growing. Victory is inevitable.
Who of us has not dreamt of how it would be living in the pristine forest, needing nothing but your own divine-given powers? In beautiful and healthy unspoiled environment, with an unbending strong will to do what is right and never yield, to laugh and be happy with all the simple things that cannot be bought in life. Free of any chains of modern conventions and dogma. Pure and intuitively connected on all the planes of our existence.
This is how the book describes Anastasia, a wild and free but incredible gifted woman that lives with her grandfather and great-grandfather in the wild nature of Russia. Often not even with clothes, no need for it, she says, when the body is used to the outside. Bears, wolves and all animals of the taiga come to her aid of their own free will and all sorts of magical events take place. It contains an astounding amount of information, knowledge, and overwhelming passion radiates from every page.
