Vedrussiya, native settlement of the Caucasus

Dear friends,

We are writing to you from the settlement "Vedrussiya", located in the Southern part of Russia in the foothills of Caucasian mountains. It is two hours to the Black Sea by car, and eighteen hours by foot.

At first, we wanted to share practical information about what we eat, how money comes, how we raise children, how we grow vegetables and fruit trees. But now we feel there is something more important we would like to share with you.

Our settlement was the first one in Russia to be settled by readers of "Ringing Cedars of Russia" series, by Vladimir Megre. We were really inspired by Anastasia's ideas. The people who started it had many difficulties to overcome, but now we have a beautiful mountain view and a huge space of love, made by us, our children and our families, with the help of nature and the universe.

The people here are real creators. We care about the natural environment, our feelings and our emotions. We consciously realise that each second we create something natural, we become a part of nature. It starts something very important for the Earth, all our ancestors and descendants.

In our family estate, we feel a lot of help from our ancestors and descendants, from the unseen energies around us, from gods and goddesses. We have started to bless everything and be thankful for everything we encounter. This feeling of love and gratitude changes our lives a lot.

When we met difficulties we were thankful for them, for showing us lessons that our souls had to pass. They made us stronger. Everything flows here. We've become calm, silent and happy.

Our children were born here, in the sunny meadows of our estate. They are showing us that we are going in the right direction. They are full of energy, curiosity, freedom and growing up off the grid.

Some would call us risky and reckless, but we trust nature and our feelings, and we are sure about what we dream and what we do.

Each person has their aims and reality, their lessons. We don't bother others, we don't judge, we just imagine, and accept all the lessons which we have been given.

We dream to give birth anew to our traditions and folk culture. We dream to preserve it for the ages.

Yes, somehow we have already started. Our ancestors forgot that folk culture, they forgot their history, and they still have fear in their cells. But we have started to work it out and to remember a better time, the Vedic period of our homeland. And we have started the process again. Our parents recall it all as well, because their cells remember it, too!

Behind our house there is a small mountain called Sober-Bash, Собер-Баш. It has a big history, too. Translated from the Adygei language, it means the dwelling place of our creator. There is an old story that speaks of people looking for serenity here, about 500 years ago. They followed a long path through our land to reach the hill. Still today, it is has lots of dolmens all around it.

As we look at Sober-Bash, the mountain reminds us of eternity. It keeps us wakeful and conscious. It reminds us to feel our wild soul, wise and self-sufficient like this big hill.

So, there's our little story. We are ready to share, and we are ready to meet our brothers and sisters from all over the world! We are happy to invite free-spirited people to gather together, to make an impact to perfect our natural environment! We have a strong dimensional place here for healing, for dreaming, where people can converge to experience a reality that is more real.

And yes, we love to celebrate life! We are bringing back the traditional festivals and events.
