First I have to say sorry for writing so much. I became a very fast typer at university, and actually I often write even longer comments than this one. You don't have to read it all. Maybe you in this group can help me be more concise with my words.
My name is Kem, I'm 25 years old, from Sydney, Australia. I graduated in sustainable development and anthropology two years ago from Columbia University in New York City.
Since then I have worked for my family's non-profit company to implement sustainable planning and intelligent policy development in Australia. For this we:
- research best practices in world sustainable development;
- network in co-operation with sustainable businesses and organisations;
- prepare policy documents and presentations for politicians.
It's an unofficial company because my dad doesn't want to register it. So you won't find it recorded anywhere, and it doesn't even have a name. But I promise you that's what I do. I put some things on Facebook last year, on the pages Homestead Act and Family Homestead, and this purpose occupies my entire energy. The main goal is to put a law on family homesteads in Australia, so that any person who wishes will be issued a hectare of land without tax for lifetime use and the right to pass it on to their children. Most of our country is desert, so we also have to guarantee that the settlers will have water on their hectares. It's going OK, but I think we need more people to read the "Ringing Cedars of Russia" books.
I read the "Ringing Cedars of Russia" books straight after university, and I understood immediately that they are very important. At first I did not talk about them with my friends or family because I come from a business, legal and political background and they were so spiritual and whimsical. Then I found the book 'Anasta' published by the http://idzk.ru/en publishing house, and it was really different - it was more "normal" to me and I started to talk to my family about implementing these ideas in the government in Australia.
Then my dad gave me some money to visit Ведруссия (Vedrussiya) settlement in August last year, and report back what I found. On my return, I was better able to explain the big rationality in all of this, and we started planning more about creating family birth land settlements in our country. I became sure that the "Ringing Cedars of Russia" books have inspired the most significant movement on the planet right now.
My dad gave us some more money to set up a commercial co-operation to import the "Ringing Cedars of Russia" books and Siberian pine nut oil into Australia. We haven't listed all the products online yet but you can see the website at http://birthing.place or http://ringingcedars.org.au. I just tried the Kedra toothpaste yesterday and now I want to import that as well - it's so great. My friend Taylor Logan is operating the warehouse in Melbourne while I do the online sales and marketing. He's the one who first gave me the books two years ago.
We are in discussion with three communities in Australia about setting up the first settlement based on the plan in the "Ringing Cedars of Russia" books - one near Sydney, one near Melbourne, and one near Byron Bay. We have to start making our own products on our own settlements as soon as possible, you see. We can't just import Russian products forever.
Unfortunately not many people have read the books, so I have to explain a lot of information very fast, and people don't always understand... and sometimes they fight against Vladimir's ideas... I have to do a lot of thinking, writing, meetings, travelling... and I have to stay healthy and fit through all of it, too.
Therefore I decided to come on a healing retreat to Russia with a video camera to make some films at the settlements. Then I can show my friends exactly the proof. And maybe they will read the books and begin to think for themselves. It's an investment for our business, see?
Now I am near Белорусская (Belorusskaya) train station in Moscow, at my ex-girlfriend's grandmother's vacant apartment. Next week I will go to a little town in Саратовская область (Saratov region) called Балаково (Balakovo), to help another friend set up an English school while I learn Russian. I did some translations for the posts on the Vladimir Megre page but I had to use Google translate and a dictionary and I think I made a few mistakes. I really want to get fluent at Russian.
In June-July I will go back to Ведруссия settlement to help them with English and also to make arrangements about increasing tourism to all the family settlements, in a way whereby everyone is happy. I'm really looking forward to that, I love it so much at that settlement. It is in Краснодарский край (Krasnodar region).
Maybe you can see I am very sure that the plan in the "Ringing Cedars of Russia" is the way forward for us, as people of the Earth. It is inevitable that this plan will happen because if we don't do it, someone else will. It's really best if we can arrange ourselves in harmony with one another, and help our society transform easily and cheerfully into this new way of life.
And it's best if we do it as soon as possible, too, because there's a lot of nasty and painful things on the Earth at the moment that would be great to eliminate forever. Then we can live among nice, simple, natural things that make people happy and the world more lovely.
Finally, I had a new idea about the word for родовое поместье (rodovoye pomestye) - birth place.
