A Rodoviye Pomestya (also Kin's Domain, Family Homestead) is a plot of land about one hectare in size, or a bit larger. Around the perimeter of the plot is a hedge, a living fence of trees, bushes, shrubs, flowers and other plants. Within the boundary of this perimeter, the residents of the rodovoye pomestie create their special piece of homeland, the dwelling place of their rod, the dwelling place of their eternal family. The rodovoye pomestie provides for the needs of its inhabitants. For a normal sized family: a mother, a father, a son, a daughter, and maybe, indeed, grandparents as well. It may have a combination of the following features:
A water source. Stream, well, bore, pond, lake, rain-water tanks, or a spring.
Forest. Forest should take up at least half of the area of the rodovoye pomestie. This provides fire for the winter, timber for the construction of dwellings, habitat for birds and other animals, and within the forest you will find a healthy variety of medicinal herbs, mushrooms and, at the edges, berries.
Meadow. In the remaining space should be a meadow of mixed vegetables and other plants. You can grow tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbages, corn, broccoli, potatoes, beetroots, turnips, carrots, wheat, barley, rice, buckwheat all together mixed in among each other and this will create the best flavour with the most beneficial properties for your vegetables. On one hectare of land, this quantity is enough to feed a normal sized family, and also to have some left over.
Ancestral grove. One tree for each deceased family member, calling their souls to the place so they can help you and also be re-embodied in your family line again.
Orchard. At the beginning, plant fruit trees and nut trees. In some years' time, the fruit trees will produce a huge surplus of apples, pears, plums, cherries, walnuts, hazelnuts and so on. Together with the vegetables and herbs growing among these fruit trees, we now have an environment full of useful, nourishing plant life.
Hedge. Also known as a living fence, this is a mixed border of dense shrubs, bushes, flowers, berries and trees which enclose the rodoviye pomestya and protect its inhabitants from negative influences. All the plants on a rodoviye pomestya are sown with a feeling of love, for the benefit of the family both past and future. It is best to use plants sown naturally in the forest rather than artificially grown at a nursery.
Animal pen. To keep animals, make a small enclosure in the forested part of your rodovoye pomestie using hedgerow bushes and little shrubs.
Living structures. You might also like to plant trees in a special formation in order to create a summer dwelling place, to relax with your friends or your children. Also for your creative studio, use living trees for the structure which can then be shaped into a position that you like.
Dwelling. The dwelling is made to suit the needs of the inhabitants. Some people prefer a larger house, some a small cottage. The materials are also up to your choice, knowing that your creation will be the lasting legacy for your children, reason for them to appreciate and think fondly, but maybe also to chide some mistakes. The house doesn't need to last forever, because the children might have better materials available to them. The grandchildren will build a house with timber from the trees their grandparents planted for them, together in love with each other, years ago.
Greenhouse. In colder climates, this can extend the growing season. It may be attached to the house to increase the thermal efficiency of the dwelling.
Bathhouse. Also known as a banya or sauna, this is an enjoyable and effective way of cleaning toxins from the body and staying warm in winter.

It is very important that external stresses and negative influences are not allowed on to the rodovoye pomestie. This is to optimise the freedom of thought available to the inhabitants. There are large and significant questions of development in our civilisation, and it is better if we have the safety and comfort to create appropriate solutions.
To optimise the effectiveness of the rodoviye pomestya to help us, the following characteristics should also be considered:
Ownership. The sole owners of a rodoviye pomestya are its inhabitants, the people who live on it, the ones whose eternal family dwell there.
Regulation. The only regulations are those which are cheerfully agreed upon by the inhabitants, along with the inhabitants of neighbouring rodovoye pomestie. No other person has any control, dominion, tithe, tribute or regulation upon a rodovoye pomestie.
Governance. Regulations and other matters are decided at the village community council, where any person is allowed to speak, and there is no centre of power.
Layout. Between each plot is a laneway of about four meters. So it's good to consult with the neighbours about things like planting tall trees, because they might make shade over their plot.
When this configuration is arranged, the area of the rodoviye pomestya takes on a new and significant feeling. It is an environment where love can grow between a mother and father, between parents and children, between brothers and sisters. It is a place where their thought is free and unhindered by the demands of the artificial world, a living place where every cell is connected with its creators, the people who tend the garden and whose family inhabit that place.
Report from a living Rodoviye Pomestya
August 19, 2015. Vedrussiya, Krasnodar Krai
Here at Vedrussiya village, there are more than two hundred rodovoye pomestie, arranged in about five glades of forty pomestie each. Some glades are larger, and some are smaller. They are interspersed with forest and connected by a dirt road. I have been on five rodovoye pomestie and seen the houses that people build, the gardens that they plant, and the joy and love with which they invite people to see what they have created. Each resident owns his land completely. Here at Vedrussiya, nobody has a mortgage, nobody has tributes, tithes, or other forms of bondage to lords, banks, or other masters. The ordinary rules of income tax do apply here still.
Regulations regarding constructions are accepting enough that almost everyone has built their own house. They are sometimes a little bit wonky, but they are very beautiful. The feeling is very beautiful.
Yesterday, Dimitri (Dima) gave us a tour of his rodovoye pomestie. He built his house with his wife and the help of neighbours and friends. He has a solar panel which provides enough electricity. Maybe sometimes they want more lights or to listen to music, but it's enough for the moment. Some residents want to bring electricity to the village, but others don't think it's necessary. The wells provide enough water for the family, but there's not enough to water the plants at the moment. Dima says if they could water the plants, they'd be farmer millionaires. They bought their hectare of land six or seven years ago, when it cost about 2000 euros. Plots now cost about 5000 euros.
He has a huge variety of plants. Watermelons, rock melons, tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, chilli, capsicum. He has an orchard with apples, pears, cherries. He has a nut orchard with walnuts. And he also has a vineyard with fifty different varieties of grapes. Wine is a passion of his father, and he liked to keep the family tradition, though it's not yet a commercial vineyard. He makes grape juice and small amounts of drink for his family and neighbours. In amongst the vines, watermelons and rockmelons are growing on the ground. We ate a lot of watermelon at Dima's place. It was very, very delicious, and there was more than enough for everybody.
Dima has various things for his own entertainment. A swing, a pravilo exerciser, where each of the four limbs are strapped to a rope and gently pulled outwards in a frame, to relax the pressure of the joints. And the nicest part of the pomestie was Dima's family tree, his rodovoye derevya. An oak tree which looked like it was growing very fast. It had fifty centimetres of very, very, fresh light green growth on each of the four leading shoots. It is about three metres tall now. Dima has mown a circle of about ten metres diameter around the family tree, and the feeling of walking up to this place is like a sacred site, but a relaxed place to feel comfortable at home. You can go up and touch the tree, and I did. I looked at it and I said, "You're a good tree, you're going to make this family really happy."
Around the side of the circle are growing rose bushes and blackberries. Dima laughed because only one rose came into flower this year. He said they're just small plants yet, and roses take a lot of care. If you don't prune them, they become briars. Then he invited us to eat some blackberries, and we all did. They were very delicious, indeed, the best blackberry I've ever tasted in my life.
Dima's daughter was conceived and born on the rodovoye pomestie. Dima and his wife gave birth to her on their own. He himself took the child from the water. I could already tell as soon as I saw the three of them together. The energy of love between them, the relaxed, gentle, calm, carefree, cheerful exuberant joy that they had together was unmatched in any family I've ever seen.
There is more to be said about rodovoye pomestie. It is very important that we understand and feel the meaning of rodovoye pomestie in the English-speaking world. It is a dwelling place for our eternal family. All of our ancestors, past and future, father, mother, grandparents, great-grandparents and so on. Children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Through the mothers side, through our father's side, through our son's side, through our daughter's side. And of course it is the place of love to grow between two beloved sweethearts, to join their family lines together and plant a new family tree.
Rodovoye pomestie in Russia is a very popular and growing idea. In this settlement, there are more than 200 families living on rodovoye pomestie. In Russia, there are more than 250 poselenie, that means villages of rodovoye pomestie. Tens of thousands of people are already living like this, even without the support of government or other philanthropists.
As the benefits of living on rodovoye pomestie become known, more support from government and philanthropists is growing. Rodovoye pomestie create ecologically clean produce. They restore the fertility of dry and barren soil. They provide a place for people to think and reflect, leading to new inventions, scientific innovation. And, they let love grow in our families.
I think rodovoye pomestie is a stable and simple way of life. Kristina says maybe it's not so simple. There are plenty of challenges to overcome at the beginning. But for many people, it's the only way to live. It is ecologically and socially beneficial for everyone—the people living on pomestie, and the people who don't want to yet.
One region of Russia, the Belgorod Oblast, has already created a law whereby any willing citizen receives one hectare of land for free from the government for the purpose of creating a rodovoye pomestie. This law is now being considered at the federal level, first to do with the Far East, and then to spread to all of Russia.
I have seen the effects of rodovoye pomestie, and the effects of creating one with your sweetheart, of conceiving a child on your rodovoye pomestie, of giving birth to a child on your rodovoye pomestie. The love between the mothers and the fathers here at Vedrussiya village is greater than anywhere I have ever seen all around the world in my whole life. Something significant happens in the process. There are people here who cannot help but smile at life. Their happiness is infectious, and we bedraggled travellers from Western countries, from English-speaking countries, are immediately uplifted and inspired just by seeing them and being near them.
The people here glow with special beauty. They are not totally living an ecologically pristine lifestyle, and flaws are lovingly tolerated. Many, most, still drive cars. Many still eat some food from shops and have jobs like teaching at the village school, or being a travel agent, or doing construction around the village and also in the neighbouring villages. They come from all walks of life, farmers, dancers, managers, office workers, businesspeople. Yet they all managed to create rodovoye pomestie, plant a hedgerow, a garden and build a dwelling.
Their festival is beautiful. We do complicated and engaging folk dances, with spins, turns and changing partners. The craft here is higher quality than I have seen anywhere in the world. Hemp fabric made by hand with no mechanical implements, only using metal for the scythes to cut the plants. Wood carving, preserves, oil pressing, honey, fresh produce. Delicous. Highest quality I've ever experienced.
I can see into the future, and the children who are growing up here, in a free and loving environment, are going to have a large influence on this planet. Already I can see that they are healthy, they are bright, they are physically adept, they are running around and interacting with each other in a caring and loving environment. They're learning how to dance with each other, they're learning how to make families. They're learning how to grow plants and interact with nature. And most of all, they are given the true space and the time to think and let their own imaginations grow. The land gives energy.
This is the importance of rodovoye pomestie, to set up a self-sufficient environment to free our thought, so we can start thinking about more important things, than what to eat for our next meal. So we can start thinking about how to clean up the big stinky, polluting mess that has covered this planet Earth. How we, as a population of seven billion people, can live peacefully, ecologically pure, socially perfect lives together here on the Earth.
Children at this village are already considering such topics. They will inherit land of their own, with fully self-sufficient gardens, houses built with love for them by their parents, established business relations with distributors and markets to earn plenty of money from their produce for minimal effort. And what will they do with the rest of their time? They will live, happily, and they will create new ways that we have not yet thought of to perfect this land in which we dwell. To help others perfect the land in which they dwell. To make this whole Earth a beautiful and pristine place.
This is what is happening here at Vedrussiya village. There is nothing anybody can do to stop this. The best thing that we can do now is to create our own rodovoye pomestie, and join together between different cultures, between different countries, between the Russian world and the English world, and then the German world, the Spanish world, the French world, and so on. To understand the idea of the rodovoye pomestie. To feel your own soul and the souls of your family line, of your eternal family. This is the best thing we can do. Together, over time and space, we will improve our environment and make it more perfect.
I hope you have understood some of the idea of Rodovoye Pomestie.

Etymology of the words, Rodoviye Pomestya
“Rod" means the eternal family, back to the father, the mother, the grandmothers, the grandfathers, the great-grandparents, the great-great-grandparents and so on. All the way back to the first couple of human beings who gave birth to the first child of a human being, to whom we are all, every person on the planet, descended today. This is the way that we are all related as brothers and sisters.
“Rod" also continues into the future to include our children, our grandchildren, our great-grandchildren and so on into the future without limit.
“Rod" is the family through time. It is the eternal family, the kin, that connects us all together here.
Oxford Essential dictionary:
род – family, kin, clan; birth, origin, stock; generation; genus; sort, kind
According to the villagers at Vedrussiya village, in Krasnodar, Southern Russia, the word “Rod" was synonymous with God in the ancient Vedic and Russ cultures. It refers to our creator, the origin of human beings, the origin of people, the organism that we are today. And also, the energy that connects us all and all living things and the experience of the life cycle of birth, death and birth over generations.
“Rod" appears as a common root in many Russian words.
rodstvenniki – relations
rodstvo – relationship
rodilniy – maternity

rodi – childbirth, labour
rodnik – water spring

“Rodovoye Pomestie" is a new concept for the English-speaking world. It is the dwelling place of our eternal family.
Note: I don’t know the difference between the different spellings of Rodoviye Pomestya, Rodovoye Pomestye and Rodovikh Pomestye. If you know, maybe you can tell me.
from Volume VI, Co-creation - Vladimir Megre (buy the ebook)
First choose a place you like out of all the possible favorable places on Earth, a place where you would like to live, where you would want your children to live, and where you would be a good memory for your great-grandchildren. The climate in that place must be favorable for you. Take for the ages one hectare of land in that place for yourself.
Then will be to construct a living fence. Look closely and picture what a beautiful fence that might make. Everyone would have one a little different, and each could gaze in admiration. Your descendants would remember you as the beautiful fence's creator through the ages. Time would not be taken from them to repair it, and it would bring benefits. It would function not only as a barrier. One fence should be made of birches growing in a row. Another from oaks. Some, in a creative surge, would make a fence of many colors, like in a fairytale.
One might plant different-colored trees: birches, maples, oaks, cedars. Another could intertwine mountain ash with their burning red clusters and plant guelder rose between them. Still another could make room for bird cherries and lilac. You can think all of it through from the beginning. Each person must observe what grows—how high, how it blooms in spring, how it smells, and what kinds of birds it attracts. Your fence would be singing and fragrant and would never tire your gaze, since it would subtly change its pictures by a half-tone every day. It would bloom with the flower of spring and blaze with the colors of fall.
Garden
Let us take up another three quarters or half of the plot with forest and plant different kinds of trees in it. At the forest's edge, where the remaining land joins, we will plant living fencing out of the kinds of bushes that animals can't get through to trample the seedlings in the garden. In the forest of living saplings planted closer to each other, we will set up an enclosure where a goat or two, for example, might live later. Also out of the trees, we will set up a shelter for laying hens. In the garden, we will dig a shallow pond of a couple of hundred square meters. We will plant raspberry and currant bushes among the forest trees, and wild strawberries along the edge. Also in the forest, after the trees have grown a little, we will place three empty troughs for bees. We will plant a gazebo of trees, where you and your friends or children can be together, away from the heat, and we will set up a living bedroom, and your creative studio. And a bedroom for the children, and a guest room.
It will be a living palace that grows eternally. This is how the Creator Himself thought of everything. Man merely needs to give everything a task. According to his taste, intention, and meaning.
The forest is like a book for you, the creator. The Father has written everything in it. There, look, three trees are growing just a meter and a half from each other. You are free to plant them in a row and compose all kinds of different configurations out of the many just like them. Bushes between the trees—think about how to use them for your life's delight. But here the trees do not let the grass and bushes grow between them, and you can bear this in mind for your own future living home. You must give everything a program and adjust it to your taste. To cherish and delight you and your children, everything in the vicinity that will be on your land must cherish and nourish.
Believe me, a garden can also be made in such a way that it does not require too much labor from you, after all. Here it is only necessary to observe. Between the grasses—the way everything grows in the forest—you could also grow vegetables, the most beautiful tomatoes and cucumbers. You'd find their taste much more pleasant than what you normally eat, and they will bring the organism much more benefit when the land around them is not bare.
There is nothing without benefit in nature, and there are no unneeded weeds. Nor are there beetles that harm man. The potato beetle or locust will not touch the plot that you and I are drawing. When everything grows in great harmony, then the fruits yielded to their grower are harmonious.
Now live in paradise. As God wanted it. And he who can build a paradise like that will touch the thought of God and will produce a new creation with Him.
The time will come when what came before is created. Let's picture what we have as yet failed to do.
Home
The home will preserve love for you and an eternal memory for others. When your grandchildren grow up, they will definitely understand what material of all the earthly ones conceived would be more pleasant, solid, and healthful for them. Right now, you do not have that kind of material. Your grandchildren will build a wooden house out of the trees that their grandfather planted and their father and mother loved. That house will heal them, protect them from evil spirits, and inspire them to the light. The great energy of Love will live in that house.
The great energy of Love
Everything needs to be created with love from the beginning. The great energy of Love and all the planets of the Universe will help you live the full life intrinsic to the son of God.
It, the great energy of Love, was sent to Earth by God for His children and comes to each one day. Sometimes, and more than once, it strives to warm man and remain with him forever. But most people are not given the opportunity to have the great Divine energy remain with them.
Imagine, a man and woman meet one day in the radiance of beautiful love. They strive to join their lives forever. They believe their union will be solid, bound on paper and through ritual in front of many witnesses. But they hope in vain. Only a few days pass and the energy of Love abandons them. It is like this for almost everyone.
Love strives to live eternally with everyone, but man chooses his way of life himself, and that way of life frightens the energy of Love. Love cannot give inspiration to destruction. It does not befit the fruit of Love to live in agony when two people begin to build a life together, when they strive to settle in a little apartment more like a lifeless stone crypt, when each has his own work and interests, his own circle, with no common causes for the future, no joint aspiration. Their bodies merely enjoy their pleasure in order to give the world their child to tear to pieces, a world of no pure water, of criminals, wars, and disease. The energy of Love moves away from this.
Love is neither fastidious nor obstinate. It strives for Divine creation. It can warm for eternity those who agree to create a dimension of Love with it.
At first, it is born for the two of them, and then for their children. The children will have a connection with the entire Universe across three planes of being.
Imagine. He and she will begin in love to carry out the project we are drawing, planting their own trees, grass, and garden and rejoicing as their creations bloom in spring. Love will live between them, in their hearts, and around them for eternity. Each will present the other with a spring flower, recalling how they planted the tree that has blossomed together. The taste of raspberry will remind them of the taste of love. He and she will touch each other in love with a raspberry branch.
Beautiful fruits will ripen in their shady garden, but the two planted the garden together. They planted the garden in love.
She laughed ringingly when he sweated digging a hole, and she snatched up the drops from his brow and kissed his hot lips.
Often it happens in life that only one loves. The other only allows him or her to be near. As soon as they begin to make their garden, the energy of Love is shared and never abandons the two! After all, their way of life will correspond to the one in which they themselves can live in love and go on to pass the dimension of Love on to their children. They can raise children in their image and likeness, together with God.

Location
First choose a place you like out of all the possible favorable places on Earth, a place where you would like to live, where you would want your children to live, and where you would be a good memory for your great-grandchildren. The climate in that place must be favorable for you. Take for the ages one hectare of land in that place for yourself.
Fence
