this model.. grow fruit and vegetables, preserve for winter and sell
the surplus at local markets, also develop small business to export
goods further afield, like textiles, wines and medicinal herbs. and to
keep buying adjacent land to divide it among like-minded people who
also intend to transition off tractors, phones, internet, cars, etc.
and towards a more ecological society with electric public transport,
local market coordinators who buy produce for export, and government
agencies to administer and facilitate the allocation of land to
citizens for the purpose of making their family homesteads..
my imagination is bursting with ideas, being here. good to see what is
immediately possible and then to imagine how i would do things even
better. 1 ha of land in this village is 3000 AUD. in mobile range,
internet and electricity grid. 30 min from large town, 90 min from
Vilnius.
friendly people who share dream of harmonious, peaceful human society
on planet earth. even if it sounds stupid and we get criticised for
it, great to be with people who havent given up on a peaceful and
abundant future for all people on earth. the long term plan for these
guys is to set up a sustainable home, then start projects to
revegetate the deserts. i support them! and the eyes of their kids
shine bright bright bright. they are happy and smart already.. very
well-behaved and peaceful tikes.
